Accounting Services

What we provide

We provide the full range of accounting services and work with individuals and businesses of all sizes to meet their specific accounting needs. With over 15 years of accountancy experience and many more in business, we provide a friendly, professional and efficient service in the following areas:

Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax

Often viewed as compliance, the statutory accounts process is not something that generally inspires. Our accounting approach is different. We let technology take care of compliance while we work with you on your business goals.

Bookkeeping

Getting help with your books does not need to be an expensive luxury. Our team is set up to offer online, efficient, good value support, so you can spend more time growing your business. It is more important than ever to have up-to-date information at your fingertips in the ever-changing economy.

VAT

VAT is a territory many businesses are afraid to walk into due to its ever-changing nature and inherent complexity. Unity has an experienced team that can help you with all HRMC-related issues and offers complete assistance along with accurate calculation and timely payments.

Tax Planning

We can provide a tax planning service for both individuals and businesses, ensuring that you are as tax efficient as possible, and making this complicated area of accountancy make more sense.

Payroll

No need to dread doing the payroll every month. Our payroll team makes the process easy and deals with all of the forms and paperwork for your business.

Monthly or Quarterly Management Accounts

We will provide regular and relevant financial and statistical information to help you make informed business decisions. This will also involve a catch-up meeting to ensure that the business is meeting its goals or if there is anything we can do to help you.

Outsourced Finance Department

We can give you a fully functional finance department without the need for you to employ any internal staff and we can report directly to the finance director.

Self Assessment

Often referred to as a ‘tax return’ - is a way for HMRC to calculate how much Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions you’ll need to pay. For the self-employed, or someone with other types of income (e.g., rental, pension or dividends), HMRC needs a Self-Assessment to assess the tax required to be paid.
